     HOY 17 DE OCTUBRE,

    SE FIRMARÁ EL ACTA CONSTITUTIVA DEL SUCRE.

    Los nueve países que conforman la Alianza Bolivariana para las Américas (ALBA) firmarán hoy, en la VII cumbre del bloque que se realiza en Cochabamba, Bolivia, el documento constitutivo del Sistema Único de Compensación Regional (Sucre), que se prevé implementar desde el 2010.

        


    "En la Cumbre se aprobará el tratado constitutivo del Sucre que reemplace al dólar en el intercambio comercial entre Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominica, San Vicente y Granadina y Antigua y Barbuda", afirmó el viceministro boliviano de Comercio Exterior, Pablo Guzmán.


    El funcionario informó ayer que este es un sistema "para compensar lo que un país compra y lo que un país vende y lo que un país compra puede compensarse automáticamente en sucres, este sistema de forma virtual y automática, a través de los bancos centrales" de cada país.

    El SUCRE busca sustituir al dólar en el intercambio comercial de los integrantes de la ALBA.
